First movement of the Minna Canth Suite “Kaikki naiset älkööt tehkö käsitöitä” (Let not all women do handicraft).
Commissioned by and dedicated to the Minna Canth Association for the celebration for the 175th anniversary of Minna Canth’s birth in the Finnish National Theatre 19.3.2019. Year of composition 2018.
Dedicated also to the magnificent first performance ensemble, the female choirs KYN and Philomela.
