Description
In November 2003, when I was a member of the French chamber choir Mikrokosmos, its artistic director Loïc Pierre asked me if I would like to transcribe for a cappella choir some melodies of Gabriel Fauré, among them Les Roses d’Ispahan. I was very delighted with this task and soon proposed quite fanciful transcriptions. But I got then wiser and deeply refined with my first works. So as to give you now as polished vocal lines as the pebbles delivered by the sea.
