The present edition includes the entire service, with references to liturgical elements in their appropriate places, and can thus be used as is for an Evensong service. The entire service may be performed in concert as well, but in that case the elements marked ‘For liturgical use’ are to be omitted. For concert use, I would recommend using the Psalm and Collect of the Day given in the present edition.
Any of the set pieces in the Trinity Service may be performed individually (Trinity Ave Maria, Magnificat, Nunc dimittis, The Lord’s Prayer, O lux beata Trinitas). Performing the Preces, Responses, Collects and/or Final Responses by themselves in concert is not recommended, although they may of course be used separately in the context of an Evensong service.
The concert version lasts about 30 minutes.
